Cornell Tech is seeking a Digital Communications Intern with impeccable design, writing and organizational skills. The intern will be an integral part of the External Relations team as we scale and develop more written and design content across platforms. In addition, the intern will coordinate all communication with outside creatives. As our intern, you will gain an understanding of content strategy, project management, digital design, and more.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Using project management system, keep team on task.
-Conceptualize and design cross-platform images and templates for the web, social media, presentations, and various collateral.
-Manage recruitment, communications and billing with outside creatives.
-Layout and assemble monthly newsletter and other correspondence.
-Track analytics & administer A/B testing.
-Manage team policies and procedures.
-Assist on photography and video shoots and production.
-Manage all digital assets for the campus, tagging with appropriate metadata and archiving in university photography library.
-Handle image requests.
-Edit and update content using a CMS.
-Administrative tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
-BA and background in journalism, communications, design, project management.
-Strong working knowledge of Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
-Strong writing and communications skills.
-Experience with Basecamp or similar project management tools.
-Experience in media asset management.
-High level of competency with Microsoft Powerpoint.
-Experience managing content in a CMS.
-Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere is a huge plus.
