Beyond ideation and exploration, the Media Partnerships Manager will be tasked with taking ownership for the building, deployment and management of the Partnerships on behalf of JWT – San Francisco’s Network and its clients.  It is an internal and external facing role, one that requires effective communication with key stakeholders in the organization and with our partners. 

 

A Day in the Life:

 

    • Help to drive the MPM agenda: being first for video, mobile, data and content
    • Position yourself as a senior contact for all major media partners
    • Manage key work streams stemming from existing Network partnerships and monitor traction / engagement with clients across the group
    • Act as liaison between media partners and agency teams for non-deal related work streams (training sessions, new business, betas / new product launches, POVs, industry events, etc.)
    • Collaborate on partnerships with the various brands within the JWT – San Francisco.
    • Take a leading role in joint business planning meetings with internal teams and partners and act as a planning resource between internal teams and partners during plan / program development
    • Lead deal assessment, strategic approach and negotiations with media partners, acting as point person for all parties involved (agency team, client team, media owner) in client partnership process 
    • Management of Senior Associate, provide guidance to nurture/promote team environment

What you’ll need:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Wine and/or Adult Beverage experience is an A+
    • 5+ years of media planning / project management experience
    • In depth knowledge of media landscape and media planning with a deep focus on digital
    • Strategic thinker, thinks out of the box to collaborate on innovative solutions for current and future partnerships
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and collaborate with project stakeholders to create and effect solutions
    • Strong motivation to ensure that work is being deployed effectively and at a high level of quality
    • A proactive personality and ability to recognize opportunities is integral
    • Experience with Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
