This is a commission only job and we are offering a very generous commission including bonuses based on performance.
We are looking for an experienced ad sales manager who can find the Strand Magazine new advertisers and expand our base beyond publishing companies. The key traits we're looking for in an ad rep is someone who is persistent, good communicator, team player, and has the ability to think outside the box.
The responsibilities include:
1. Finding new ad prospects.
2. Contacting ad prospects via the phone, email etc.
3. Drafting sales plans based on editorial—the Strand is regularly featured on NPR for publishing lost manuscripts.
4. Making sure insertion orders are sent and art is in our hands in a timely fashion.
