ANTHEMIC is seeking an Account Manager for our growing team in Los Angeles. ANTHEMIC is a marketing agency working with a variety of clients ranging from music, lifestyle and automotive. This candidate should have a passion for music and lifestyle culture, background in tech and fashion is a plus.

Success for this position is measured by the ability to:

  • Work with the Marketing Director and team on client and FLOOD projects and programs
  • Prioritize workload while remaining accountable to multiple production leads on a daily basis
  • Demonstrate passion for improving processes and solutions
  • Research and share practical solutions for roadblocks and challenges

Candidate experience should include:

  • 3 – 4 years of brand marketing or experiential event marketing (salary commensurate with experience)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with peers, make sound decisions, and appropriately respond to difficult situations while remaining polished, professional and confident
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • An ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage and prioritize workload, make decisions with supervision and meet deadlines
  • Ability to see projects at the big picture level while maintaining work flow for minor tasks, details, and deadlines involved in successful production and project delivery
  • A proven track record of managing successful projects and ability to show examples of past work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, examples needed
  • Must have attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to excel in the role
  • Demonstrates history of establishing effective working relationships across a diverse team and with various outside vendors
  • Identification and vetting of potential vendor partners

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Support development of creative proposals, event activation ideation, design conceptualization and digital marketing, as well as new business development and RFP’s.
  • Support event planning through brainstorm sessions, creative/activation research and budgeting, creative project management and RFP project management.
  • Staying on top of event trends and new activation concepts to consistently provide relevant ideas for clients
  • Responsible for the development and production of visual and written elements of creative concepts through execution on assigned brands and individual projects
  • Manage RFP responses including taking an active role on multiple projects at once, and being responsible for meeting client and internal deadlines
  • Coordinating internal resources to develop client proposals including creative direction on renderings, illustrations and mood boards
  • Writing copy and messaging for all new business proposals
  • Following-up with potential clients to address any questions that may arise during the proposal process
  • Attending new business presentations
  • Works with Marketing and Sales teams to establish successful execution of programs within established budgets and timeframe and on strategy
  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of clients’ business as well as their competitor
  • Assist with scoping of projects (goals, deliverables, schedule, budget)
  • Work closely with all departments within FLOOD Magazine and ANTHEMIC
  • Compile and maintain project and department documentation as-needed
  • Identification and vetting of potential vendor partners

A successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, with good judgment, excellent computer skills, and an outgoing personality. They must also be a team player, and possess the ability to handle a large volume of work & short deadlines that often require working extended hours. An interest and passion for music, entertainment and general culture is a plus. BS/BA with a background in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or another related degree is required.
