We are looking for a Manager, Audience Development to manage our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc. and target and engage audience members, and provide lead generation along with developing traffic partner relationships with content sites.

Responsibilities of the Audience Development Manager:

  • Work with Marketing, Creative, Editorial, and BI Teams to define target audiences and align content strategies, distribution channels and consumer segments for optimal traffic, lead, and revenue generation
  • Work with editor in developing editorial calendar, and work with internal and external writers to maintain fresh and engaging content for Ladders' user base
  • Own, manage and execute for engagement and reporting across social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.), email newsletters, and Ladders' publication
  • Evangelize the Ladder’s brand and grow the number of influencers across new and existing content and social media channels
  • Identify content syndication partners that can be leveraged to drive growthProvide support to Product and Engineering teams with respect to technical SEO, site architecture and platform optimization

Qualifications of the Audience Development Manager:

  • BA degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3-4 years experience in content marketing and social media marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in multiplatform content extensions and original content production
  • Knowledge of technical SEO and organic lead generation
  • Familiarity with digital analytics and tools such as Omniture, ComScore, Google Analytics, and Facebook Insights
  • Understanding of editorial work flow and output
  • Active personal use of social networks
  • Experience managing content syndication networks, CMS systems and email marketing
