Professional Media Group, a leading B2B education media company located in Trumbull, CT, seeks a talented Marketing Content Specialist to produce, project manage and distribute multimedia content to our clients, prospects and subscribers. The successful candidate will work closely with marketing management to reflect the company voice, capture the attention of our audience, and deepen and expand the company’s reputation as a thought leader. This role requires creativity, project management acumen and a commitment to producing content to drive business results. Content includes, but isn’t limited to: product promotion, media kit and sales support materials, press releases, advertisements, landing page copy, email copy, social media posts, blog posts, audio and video. You’ll work with marketing leadership to ensure that content echos both voice and company branding. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to new technology is essential. 


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject-matter experts to manage to a vigorous content calendar and generate a continuous stream of high-quality content. 

  • Manage the end-to-end content creation process, including writing, fact-checking, editing and obtaining approvals. 

  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience. 

  • Manage distribution of content across marketing channels, including our website, social media, email and advertising channels. 

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns, including engagement and business outcomes. 


  1. BA/BS in business, marketing, journalism, communications, English, or a related field 

  2. Exceptional writing skills and a portfolio of writing samples 

  3. 3-5 years of experience, preferably in B2B, in one or more of the following fields: digital marketing, social media, digital content, public relations 

  4. Ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment 

  5. Highly organized and detail oriented 

  6. Ability to think strategically about the brand across multiple platforms. 

  7. Ability to adapt writing style to target audiences and content formats. 

  8. Ability to quickly learn new software applications 

  9. Understanding of SEO best practices and principles. 

  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Drupal and/or editing software including knowledge of HTML/CSS and Photoshop.

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer with accountability to Marketing Production Management. The position is located in Trumbull, CT.
