Senior Digital Sales Strategist
The Digital & Strategic Sales team at Verizon is hiring and in search of a sales strategy lead to help build the future of the Fios business, including developing the process, framework and strategy to help this newly formed organization meet its overall objectives and goals.
This sr. manager Digital Sales Strategist role will be responsible for defining and executing initiatives, which enable significant sales growth of Verizon’s Fios products. Though focused primarily on growth through Digital interactions, this team will also interface with others responsible for growth in other strategic sales channels like Retail, Door-to-Door and others. Focused on both prospects and existing customers alike, in addition to our recently launched and growing accessories business.
This role involves partnering with a demand lead, site lead, optimization lead, information technology partners and agency partners, to grow Digital sales of Fios. Furthermore, framing and telling the Digital story to senior executive stakeholders is required. Candidate must work with stakeholders and to gather and shape executive communications, drive alignment on priorities and requirements across the Digital team and influence teams to meet delivery milestones, while building positive relationships.
We are seeking excellent analytical and strategic thinkers that can translate user needs, business objectives and technology capabilities into our overall digital strategy. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to senior stakeholders and team members alike. This is a unique role to work within a dynamic group that is defining the future of CX inside of a Fortune 15 business.
The ideal candidate for this position must be able turn strategic ideas into action, within a large-scale business environment. Candidate must have an ability to navigate in a large company operational environment, yet possess highly entrepreneurial traits, with deep skills in Digital Marketing and Sales. The idea candidate must exhibit professional, managerial skills, including comfort with presenting to executive leadership teams surrounding the merits of this program. Must have an ability to pitch and convince large groups within a diverse matrix organization, leveraging data visualization or illustrations on operational data, technical solutions, and complicated business processes. Analyzing digital performance trends and deep tactical awareness of our demand gen processes is required, along with monitoring revenue trends and proving in Digital ROI. Lastly, the ideal candidate must act as a digital advocate, leading culture initiatives to embed design thinking and a digital–first mentality within the organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Six or more years of relevant experience. Experience in Marketing.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Master’s degree. Even better if you have your MBA. Proven people manager with the ability to grow and develop a team. Prior consulting and/or agency experience, or equivalent experience preferred, along with extensive Digital sales and marketing experience Strategic and analytical thinker who can analyze data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations and shape business strategy. Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate the digital landscape and technology. Proven negotiating skills, demonstrated collaborative and consensus building strengths. Demonstrated team player and leader who can effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong communication (verbal/written) skills, with a proven ability to manage internal and external relationships up to senior levels of management. Experience leading cross-functional teams and maintaining accountability for major business initiatives, in a highly matrix organization. Excellent data visualization and creative PowerPoint skills, along with Word, Excel & Access experience Self-starter that learns and adapts quickly to frequently changing priorities.
