The Role

The New York team is looking for a strategic assistant to join the entertainment marketing group. The successful candidate will be working as an assistant to two executives that service businesses in the automotive, beverage and beer, fashion and food verticals. In this role you will be responsible for administrative assistance, as well as client research and analysis, brainstorming, assisting with the creation of strategic presentations, developing insights and helping with billing and project management. There are great growth opportunities within this group and company for the right candidate. 

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administrative support for the team, including but not limited to calendar management, travel arrangements, expenses, answering calls, meeting and greeting clients
  • General market research as required on: Competitors, Brands, Territories, Legislation and Events
  • Filtering news and media reports to share with the wider team
  • New business pitch presentation preparation
  • Production of presentations for client meetings
  • General assistance to the team with ongoing projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Business or the equivalent
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Previous experience in a branding/marketing/entertainment role
  • Must have a love for branding and the shifting advertising landscape
  • Must have a love and knowledge of pop culture and entertainment
  • Must be a self-starter and take initiative within the department
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize a busy workload
  • Ability to develop business relationships at all levels
