Media Strategist, Hospitality
Nadine Johnson & Associates (NJA) is seeking experienced Media Strategists to work with our Hospitality team, representing high caliber clients in the U.S. and around the world. Candidates should have functional experience working with hotel and food and beverage clients, and individuals within the luxury sphere.
We are looking for proactive, articulate executives with an avid interest in world events and a love of good journalism. A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team are also essential for working effectively in these roles.

Desired experience/skills include:
• Minimum of three years’ experience working in PR and media relations, excluding internships.
• Ability to work effectively with a team and conceptualize & execute strategies
• Deep understanding and knowledge of the international cultural and media landscape
• Strong writing & pitching acumen; solid research & strategic skills
• Existing relationships with editors, freelancers and writers
• Ability to think outside of the box
• A passion for storytelling and journalism
• Technical skills: proficiency with Google Suite, PowerPoint and Excel
We look for a diverse skill set set that goes beyond traditional PR experience; i.e. what each candidate brings to the conversation: where they have lived, worked, volunteered; how up to date they are on trends; what they read; what events they attend/have attended; what knowledge they have on brands and the perception of those brands in the marketplace.
