The Los Angeles Business Journal is interviewing for a mid-level and entry level Advertising Sales Representative to join our company and build a career with us. The right candidate is highly motivated, with a desire to join a culture dedicated to growth and achievement. In addition to increasing business with established accounts, they must be eager to meet with prospective clients and agencies in order to close new business. We’re looking for individuals with 1-5 years of sales or media experience or who are motivated to make money, have a self-starter attitude and are able to hit the ground running.
Specifically they will be responsible for maintaining and growing an industry specific client base to hit sales targets, prospecting new advertisers, meeting with agencies and business executives to make sales presentations, writing sales proposals, account management of clients and networking at various business events.
This position offers a guaranteed base of commissions while you grow your territory along with an aggressive percentage for new business. The benefits package includes medical, dental, time off and 401k.
