Connections Media LLC, is a digital agency with offices in New York and Washington, DC providing strategy, design, content, and customized technology services to high-profile public affairs and political advocacy clients. We have an immediate opening in our Client Services department for an Account Manager to join our DC office.

The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter, possessing exceptional communication and project management skills, creativity and attention to detail.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working with digital media and a detailed knowledge of digital strategies and tactics
  • 1 to 2 years of experience directly with clients in a lead capacity
  • Experience managing public affairs communications programs
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple parties involved in intricate, fast moving projects with tight deadlines
  • Previous agency and digital media experience required
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics for tracking and reporting on site performance and familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Acutely detail-oriented and highly organized
  • A diplomatic team-player
  • Enthusiastic and confident when confronting new and complex challenges
  • A passion for politics and current events
  • Fluency with social media platforms and social listening tools such as Zignal, Sysmos and Radian6 preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Day-to-day management of client engagements
  • Production of individual assets and deliverables for clients by working across teams to identify requirements, facilitate edits and feedback and keep projects on schedule
  • Tracking and reporting on priorities and ongoing activities both internally and externally
  • Assisting in client content development and strategy recommendations
  • Offering creative ideas for how our clients can leverage digital media to advance objectives
  • Coordination of internal design, programming, and other resources to accomplish client objectives, social media monitoring and engagement
  • Participate in new business planning

  • Team Player: Account Managers at Connections Media need to be able to manage expectations for the client and internal departments, and work collaboratively across teams
  • Confidence and Expertise: We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and collaborative individual with the experience and expertise to serve as a client-facing subject matter expert on digital media
  • Digital Experience: We are not seeking a programmer, but a working knowledge of HTML, web video and basic database architecture is strongly preferred.
