Manager, Digital Content & Analytics
This is a professional position in the Strategic Communications & Content department that supports AIA’s digital content strategies. The incumbent is responsible for supporting a content governance structure for the Institute, and working with internal teams to maintain that structure to support institutional goals and strategies. The incumbent will analyze content effectiveness using analytics platforms to optimize organizational objectives and user experience. In addition, the Manager will work with a team of digital content managers and graphic designers to support public relations, outreach, and the AIA brand across platforms.
Content development and management:
- Track and report metrics related to the AIA’s performance and engagement across all digital platforms Analyze content performance trends and recommend tactics to content producers as part of larger content strategies Support AIA content governance policies and procedures to ensure the creation of content that is on-brand, consistent, and optimized for search and UX, with special attention to content lifecycles (creation, evaluation, optimization, and removal) Assist the Director, Digital Content & Governance with reviewing and optimizing editorial and Email communications for internal departments and content producers. Create and maintain digital content workflows and processes using project management and digital publishing tools. Deliver successful content audits and inventories to internal stakeholders that include quantitative and qualitative analyses Optimize SEO, research and keep abreast of digital trends and adopt innovations to enhance AIA’s digital presence, including CRM and CMS. Other duties as required.

- Outstanding data tracking, analysis, and interpretation skills Excellent editing, writing, and verbal communications skills Experience in delivering wireframes, personas, content models, vision briefs, content inventories and audits, journey maps, heuristic reviews, competitive reviews and analytics reviews Work with an experienced cross-functional team of creatives, technologists, and strategists to deliver UX strategies across digital platforms Experience with editorial project management Ability to multitask with overlapping assignments, multiple deadlines, and shifting priorities Proficient with e-marketing systems including (but not limited to) Real Magnet, as well as digital publishing tools such as Drupal, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite Experience managing complex multimedia projects involving interactive, video, and audio components desired Demonstrated working knowledge of HTML code and a background in graphic design and website development
Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, new media, journalism, marketing, or related field and five years of experience working as part of a digital publishing team
