Story Partners, a Washington, DC -based public affairs firm, is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to oversee and optimize paid search and digital advertising campaigns for multiple clients. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience planning and executing online advertising campaigns to include search, display, contextual and social media advertising platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Plan and execute online advertising campaigns, including online media planning, buying, budgeting, and optimization
  • Propose monthly budget allocations with a goal of maximizing ROI
  • Contract monthly advertising campaigns with ad networks and external publishers
  • Manage day-to-day search, display and retargeting budget management, keyword/display target research and optimization
  • Monitor, analyze and optimize ongoing advertising campaigns
  • Develop detailed analytic reports for online properties and paid advertising campaigns to properly measure effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for strategy and improvements
  • Develop testing strategies to improve conversions and KPIs
  • Monitor Pay-Per-Click (PPC) trends and techniques to identify new opportunities
  • Research new advertising opportunities and establish relationships with new publishers
  • Continuously learn about new technologies and trends in the field; identify innovative solutions

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with SEO and SEM, PPC strategy and execution, social media advertising, digital display and programmatic buying, reporting, tracking and metrics analysis
  • Strong knowledge of ad website analytic and ad serving tools
  • Proficiency in Google Adwords (Google AdWords Certified preferred)
  • Experience with Google analytics with strong analytical and reporting skills including KPI development and measurement
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
