Overview

Position Summary

The Manager, Email Marketing will own end-to-end campaign management of various marketing programs from pre-production to development, execution and reporting. You will work hands-on to grow the MLS fan base, boost fan enagement and increase lifetime value. This position will manage our CRM tools and be the the product owner of our Salesforce CRM Platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee lifecyle marketing strategies including executing day-to-day strategic email marketing tactics and managing all email campaigns
  • Utilize segmentation and personalization tactics to drive fan-centric enagement campaigns
  • Ensure that analysis, test and learn principles are used to optimize campaigns and identify new areas of opportunity
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the creative process to guide development of campaigns
  • Proof and QA of campaigns to ensure flawless execution
  • Deliver reporting and analysis of campaign and operational email performance
  • Manage external vendor relationships related to CRM, consumer marketing and database management
  • Bring a fan-centric mindset that leverages data as well as creative concepts
  • Collobrate cross-functionally to ensure data collection & fan engagement are included in all programs across the MLS enterprise

Additional Responsibilities

  • Conduct frequent analysis of competitor programs, best practices & emerging trends
  • Manage data acquisition programs and activations as needed
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in CRM and database marketing
  • Mobile app retention and mobile messaging marketing experience a plus
  • Proficient with ESPs, journey building, personalization and drip campaign creation
