What you’ll be doing...

This Sr. Manager will be part of the consumer segment marketing team leading the development of segmentation led value propositions for our core wireless business. Focused on driving revenue, this role will champion the needs for new product and program development as well as carve out the vision, market strategy and integration of services.

The role will develop the business case for innovative customer centric programs that have market differentiation and strong sustainability to increase our subscriber base. You will lead an internal team and agencies from ideation to validation resulting in acquisition based campaign vehicles.You will provide the requirements for segmentation insights and foundational research with decision making ability.

The candidate to hold a strategic, creative and results driven skill set. Accountable for the alignment and leadership visibility. Budget management responsibilities and understanding of the business financials. Will lead a team of managers ensuring collaboration, developmental opportunities and group success

You’ll help us understand markets and how people use our products and services. You will maintain our leadership position by anticipating consumer needs and shaping our future offerings to meet them. Your vision and leadership will help us realize what’s next for Verizon.

This senior manager will primarily focus on the below in driving their team to the deliverables required:-

1-Value proposition and business case development

2-Aqcuisition based program development

3-Agency management

4-Team management

What we’re looking for...

You are curious about what people need and want. You enjoy digging through data for insight into opportunities for how we can help our consumers work, play and connect in new and better ways. You have an eye for detail for numbers and what is financially viable for Verizon from a profitability viewpoint.

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Experience working with marketing research, research strategy, or consumer research methodologies.

Even better if you have:

Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.

Eight or more years of relevant work experience.

Collaborated across a multitude of different teams to create a desired outcome.

Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).

Analyzed what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.

Managed multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Translated market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the sales team.
