Director of Communications
The LEAD1 Association, a national association representing 130 of the largest college athletic programs in the U.S. and based in D.C. and Virginia, is seeking a Director of Communications to frame and implement a communications strategy for the organization. The role would encompass media relations, executive communications, social media, public relations and governmental outreach and assistance on events. We are looking for an individual with: a proven track record of building communications and PR programs, excellent written and verbal communications skills, expertise in utilizing social media platforms, 3+ years of corporate, government or nonprofit experience in the communications field, and preferably an understanding or experience with college sports.
All positions are full-time and offer competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
