The Social Media and Event Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all Mikkeller Brewing San Diego social media platforms as well as advertising campaigns. The position will include multiple postings on our various forms of social media as well as photography. Our Social Media and Event Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting the coordination and management of domestic events as well as our annual membership program. Utilize creativity to source and create content for social platforms that help promote and expand our brand
Respond to any customer questions, direct messages, emails, etc.
Manage posting schedule to ensure timelines are met
Monitor social media performance and deliver monthly reports across all platforms
Work closely with colleagues as a team in brainstorming ways to further our brand
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships within the craft brew industry such as bloggers, local beer bar owners, media influencers etc.
Organize promotional event plans, timelines, and budgets
Prepare detailed itineraries using appropriate software
Obtain permits when necessary
Create advertisements for events as well as documenting events through social media and photography
Manage and keep track of annual Viking Club membership
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years’ experience
Experience analyzing social media activity
Experience creating reports from social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter
Experience using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal communication skills
A driven and creative mindset
