The Digital Video Researcher for NBC Nightly News will join a team of journalists producing content across digital and social media platforms.

*Produce original news video pieces, content tied to trending stories, and oversee the distribution of clips from the on-air program.

*Maintain video on all major social media platforms including Facebook, Facebook Live, Twitter, Periscope, Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube. *Develop creative ideas on how to reimagine multimedia storytelling.

*Bachelor's degree

*2+ years of experience shooting, producing and editing video for digital news platforms

*Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through to be considered

*Must be willing to work in New York

*Must be able to travel and work overtime, overnight, holidays, and on weekends with short notice

*In-depth understanding of social media.

*Strong experience with editing in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects.)

*Ability to pitch creative ideas

*Possess strong news judgment

*Possess strong organizational and communication skills

*Be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
