What you’ll be doing...

This position will be instrumental in the overall success of the device marketing / commercial & productivity devices team. It will focus on building, managing and collaborating with our OEM partners to drive growth across all relevant sales channels. The successful candidate will have a proven record of managing relationships with key business partners, managing devices throughout the overall lifecycle, aligning business initiatives on a national scale, and building/driving marketing initiatives to target growth through all relevant customer segments. This position will also require an individual that is capable of monitoring, analyzing and acting on industry trends related to customers, competitors and other industry factors that impact their area of the business.

Device Project Management:

Shepherd device projects through all phases of development, from conception to launch to ongoing lifecycle-management.

Maintain updated and detailed log of all projects and tasks assigned.

Present program overview and updates as needed.

Provide management with timely content for ops reviews and area presentations.

Act as the Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for all customer facing teams for all OEM program products and services.

Partner Development & Strategy:

Lead all efforts around partner on-boarding, launch activities, training, and program expansion elements.

Ensure partner’s value proposition is clear and business expectations are met.

Set overall program goals, expectations, and measurement criteria to gauge results.

Identify and expand the scope of the OEM product portfolio to align with key initiatives.

Gain alignment with management and cross-functional teams to develop needs analysis, business initiatives and program growth recommendations.

Align with the sales teams and key stakeholders to drive value propositions of partnership eco-system.

Understand Verizon quarterly results and drive OEM alignment to achieve such results.

Communications & Awareness:

Assist in development of promotions, training needs and other materials to launch and further drive OEM Partnerships.

Managejoint marcom activities such as collateral, videos, prospecting mailers, advertisements, and briefs.

Support internal and external events such as sales kick-offs, trade shows, workshops, and industry events that requires OEM participation.

Represent Verizon Wireless at industry events such as trade shows, seminars, and workshops.

Provide regular updates and communications to all stakeholders who support solution selling initiatives.

Cross train on other team projects to act as a back-up presenter on the teams other initiatives as needed.

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Experience in wireless device development and product lifecycle management.

Experience managing partnerships.

Experience in negotiating business agreements and contracts.

Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time as needed.

Even better if you have:

Master’s degree / MBA.

Strong experience in the wireless industry working across multiple device types (phones, computers, tablets, 2-in-1s).

Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior management.

Experience working with sales channel partners.

Demonstrated experience reporting financial impacts of large-scale initiatives.

Proven success working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
