Role Purpose
The Director of Product serves as the point person bridging the NBC Sports digital product team to the Regional Sports Networks, devising a strategic roadmap and helping set the priorities for the business through identifying both business enhancements and new product opportunities.

Job Duties
  • Execute the RSN digital product strategy and roadmap as set by the SVP, Platforms and Strategy
  • Work with NBC Sports Digital’s Technology and Product teams to determine RSN business requirements, deliverables and schedules
  • Drive and expand NBC Sports RSN’s success by enhancing and increasing the value of its current products, services and capabilities
  • Oversee site and business analytics and utilize various data sources to report on current site strengths and new areas of growth
  • Create and manage development of product plans related to new multiplatform products, platforms, and devices
  • Ensure the implementation of products for the RSN sites and apps are on time, in scope and on budget
  • Work with the Director of Business Intelligence and the Advertising Operations team to introduce analytics into product planning
  • Work with Content leadership on audience acquisition, user experience and engagement related to product
  • Support Sales leadership related to ad products

    Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience product development and management

    Additional Qualifications
  • Proven track record with product innovation and implementation
  • Extensive experience in multiplatform product development and UX strategies
  • Must have extensive experience with Drupal-based CMS and site management tools
  • HTML skills required
