Work with technical staff, Director, and Producer to satisfy production needs for shows, under supervision of the Director, Technical Operations.
Responsibilities are multi-faceted and include studio camera operator, Ronin camera operator, tape playback, graphics operator, audio technician for studios as well as lighting and stage preparation. (if applicable)
Perform stage managing duties as needed
Work creatively with the on-duty Director to establish sound production practices for the delivery of content within studio and topical programming.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum two (2) years experience in a live news, sports or production environment
Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
Must be willing to work in Portland, OR
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18 years or older
Qualified applicants must demonstrate an understanding of established industry standards for audio quality and quality control
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
