This position will report to the Sr. Director, Content Strategy & Acquisitions. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing all aspects of Universal Kids non-linear programming strategy. S/he will supervise and provide direction for the Non-Linear Scheduling Coordinator and act as Brand Manager for all Universal Kids programs. Beyond planning, the Manager must be an idea person, whose experience and resourcefulness will contribute to new programming strategies on all linear and non-linear platforms.


Core Responsibilities
Video on Demand (VOD) and TV Everywhere (TVE)
• Strategize programming plans for VOD and TVE platforms and submit for approval to VP, Content Strategy
• Work closely with Media Planning, On-Air Marketing and Production departments to ensure timely delivery of all linear and non-linear programming assets including.
• Liaise with VOD and TVE teams for software updates, scheduling procedures, delivery of elements, and metadata
• Monitor all VOD and TVE platforms to ensure accuracy of Universal Kids Branding, tune-in and metadata
• Coordinate branding updates on these platforms with the Affiliate and TVE teams
• Write reports on competitive VOD and TVE practices

Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) and Electronic Sell Through (EST)
• Work closely with EST team to support promotion of Universal Kids EST product
• Monitor all SVOD and EST platforms to ensure accuracy of Universal Kids Branding, tune-in and metadata
• Coordinate branding updates on these platforms with the SVOD and EST teams
• Write reports on competitive SVOD and EST practices

Other Responsibilities
• Assist in Universal Kids linear promo scheduling day to day, including vacation backup when needed
• Coordinate all programming activities with Digital team to ensure proper use of content on other platforms
• Brand Manager Responsibilities: write strategic briefs and coordinate with Marketing and Production teams to ensure proper implementation of plans for various Universal Kids priorities
• Create presentations and reels as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
• Minimum three years industry experience, preferably in a multiplatform capacity
• Extensive personal experience with VOD, TVE and EST platforms
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication & organizational skills
• Positive, Team player attitude
