Billboard / Hollywood Reporter Media Group is looking for an Executive Director, Marketing Execution to lead our Marketing Execution (post-sale) team. This team works closely across all internal functions to execute best-in-class custom music- and entertainment-based partnership programs for our advertisers.

Candidate must have experience successfully building and leading an execution / production team, developing and implementing solutions-oriented processes, adapting best practices to meet ever-evolving industry standards and interfacing with cross-departmental team leaders and external clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute custom marketing solutions for clients
  • Oversee bi-coastal team as they execute all elements of sold programs, including timelines, budgets, creative executions and follow-up on all deliverables
  • Work cross-functionally with departments to develop best practices for highly collaborative nature of role
  • Directly manage P&L statements across sold business and primary liaison with Finance
  • Consistently liaise with Editorial and Product departments across Billboard / Hollywood Reporter Media Group on impending products tied into Editorial frameworks 
  • Directly responsible for client and agency management throughout programs
  • Overseeing all post-sale marketing materials to ensure content is developed and written at a high level of excellence
  • Manage employee development: weekly individual status meetings, weekly team meetings, quarterly performance check-in’s

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 7-10 years experience in digital, publishing or other media marketing
  • Expert knowledge of the online advertising industry
  • Strong leadership experience – hiring, training and mentoring team members, developing and implementing process and best practices
  • Team oriented – flexible, helpful and able to work well with others
  • Solution oriented – resourceful, thorough, organized. A proactive problem solver, quick learner and strategic thinker
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – delivers information in a clear and concise manner
  • Familiarity with multiple media and social platforms
  • Extensive experience in digital, video and branded content
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced work environment
  • Passion for music and entertainment
