The Digital Advertising Specialist will be an in-house expert on how data and programmatic advertising functions and delivers for NYL, and administers the discipline on behalf of the company.  Working with outside vendors including agencies and data providers, this person will craft the strategy and execution of advanced, data-led advertising campaigns, driving effective marketing campaigns for NYL.  Additionally, the Specialist will serve as an internal subject matter expert, educating internal stakeholders, and working with them to develop precision advertising campaigns as needed.

  • Direct and manage programmatic/data-led digital advertising campaigns with agency partners, and directly interact with DMP tool and programmatic technology partners
  • Understand how platform/data technologies and tools, such as DMPs and DSPs, work and help translate technical concepts & jargon in ordinary terms
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance; establish regular cadence
  • Meet with outside vendors and technologies to ensure best in class efforts for company
  • Act as subject matter expert internally regarding digital advertising
  • Assist in offline advertising and sponsorship efforts as needed

You will bring to the role:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience-
  • Experience with Digital Media either from within an agency or working client side partnering with agencies
  • Strong experience working within the digital advertising ecosystem with extensive knowledge of participants and their roles
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional communication skills, presentation and written
  • The ability to manage internal stakeholders
  • An understanding of the digital media landscape in the US
  • Exposure to research tools
