The Manager, Merchandising/Operations is responsible for overseeing the complete merchandise process from beginning to end, including vendor onboarding, PO management, product receipt, product set up, invoice processing, distribution and on-going warehouse and customer support. Reporting to the Senior Merchandiser, this position is responsible for supporting the Merchandise and Product teams by handling all operations related to merchandise. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, external vendors and the warehouse with a strong focus on problem resolution and follow up.

Specific responsibilities include:

Oversee the vendor on-boarding process including gathering and processing the necessary documents to ensure efficient and timely vendor approval.

Maintain a receipt of product flow. This includes:
• Working with the buying team to initiate the PO process, confirming product details, gathering internal approvals and ensuring the vendor receives the PO in a timely manner.
• Tracking receipt of product to the warehouse including shipping, delivery, over and under shipments, lost or damaged products/packaging, substitutions, RTV (return to vendor) and the like.
• Communicating/coordinating regularly with the warehouse, vendors, internal Product and Merchandise teams and Fandango Customer Service.
• Resolving issues promptly and efficiently, and establishing operational protocols that result in a standardized process that is routinely followed.

Ensure the Product team has all assets needed to upload a product to the site (approved copy, visuals, legal requirements, pricing, etc. represented accurately in the SKU set up sheet).

Monitor warehouse issues and notifications daily, preparing regular status updates for the team on all areas related to the flow of product from initial shipment to final customer destination.

Explore efficiencies in shipping, packaging, warehouse fees and the like on a consistent basis.

Performs other support functions for the Product and Merchandise teams including but not limited to assisting in implementing a mark down strategy for underperforming or overstocked products, identifying top-selling products and notifying Merchandise teams when product needs to be reordered, directing the weekly Merchandise meetings and following up on any order, product, asset or warehouse issue.
• Must possess basic knowledge of merchandise production and product development.
• Strong organizational skills a must. Should also have strong Excel skills and retail math skills. A familiarly with ecommerce technical issues a plus.
