The Manager, Multi-Platform Projects will report to the Director, Multi-Platform Content and be responsible for the framework, procedures, and best practices that govern the creation, optimization, promotion, and analysis of content across all digital platforms and devices. This position will engage with the content, sales, marketing, and technical teams within NBC Sports Washington to ensure the successful execution of content-driven digital campaigns and meeting or surpassing of content performance goals.
Manage the big picture creation, flow, and promotion of content across digital platforms, including web, social, email, podcasts, and mobile.
Implement, track, and optimize digital content and marketing campaigns across all channels
Oversee and manage audience conversion goals, including data acquisition, targeting, and audience segmentation
Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate execution of all marketing and sales web, social, email, and mobile/app campaigns
In cooperation with NBC Sports Regional Networks experts, develop and oversee all SEO efforts
Track and report all digital analytics
Manage the Coordinating Editor, Multi-Platform and related editorial tasks
Minimum of 5 years experience in digital media or marketing
Minimum of 4 years experience in social media
Minimum of 3 years experience managing web content
Experience with and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite design programs such as Photoshop and Premiere
Familiarity with modern web content management systems
Strong understanding of current web content best practices & analytics
Strong understanding of all current social media platforms, best practices & native analytics
Knowledge of web, online video and mobile standards, best practices, design and usability principles, and constraints
Ability to self-start, self-manage, meet deadlines and learn from mistakes
