Group Nine Media is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join the Finance team. He/She/They will report directly to the SVP, Finance and will be responsible for supporting all brands that fall under the Group Nine Media umbrella. This includes interpreting and converting raw data into meaningful and useful marketing and sales intelligence. The ideal candidate has an understanding of operational processes and demonstrated experience handling a high volume of incoming requests pertaining to Salesforce.
Serve as the liaison between internal/external business partners and 3rd party Salesforce Consultants
Build as well as maintain reports, roles, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts and workflow rules in Salesforce
Identify, research and solve technical problems
Ensure system integrity across all users and applications and make recommendations for enhancements to improve efficiency, process, reporting, etc.
Provide Salesforce training for users as needed
Handle and respond to all incoming salesforce inquiries
Develop and create customized reports and dashboards
Generate weekly, quarterly and annual reports including executive summary and analysis
Design and implement Salesforce best practices
Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements
Perform Salesforce reconciliation within the project management system
Prepare Salesforce reports for Management such as metrics, usage reports, pipeline reports, and ad hoc reports as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2+ years related work experience
Salesforce certification desired but not required
Proficient experience with Salesforce; this includes triggers, workflows, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchy
Experience managing and executing against multiple projects and deadlines, while prioritizing projects appropriately in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional assessment and organizational skills; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) ability to present to audiences of all levels
Team player mentality with the ability to build good rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience working in Media/Agency/Production a plus
Prior experience working with NetSuite connector preferred
Must be a self-starter and work well without constant supervision
Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency, and attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
