Outside seeks a highly creative Digital Marketing and Sales Strategist to collaborate with the advertising, marketing, and editorial teams to develop new sales strategies and to create media programs across Outside’s digital platforms.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop, articulate, and share innovative digital sales programs, partnerships, and revenue based opportunities
  • Actively seek new prospects by reviewing data and research, and constructing sales stories that are custom to the client
  • Collaborate with our editorial teams and general manager to introduce sponsorship opportunities around new editorial launches
  • Work with marketing director and general manager to develop and maintain digital sales materials
  • Provide feedback to our product and business teams about the needs and successes in the market
  • Support day-to-day requests across varying existing clients and new business opportunities
  • Completing spec sheets and client templates in responding to RFPs when needed
  • Develop monthly industry and brand specific trend reports

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years digital media/digital advertising experience
  • Experience at a leading publisher or social media platform
  • An understanding of the industry's key issues
  • An understanding of social ad products like Facebook Sponsored Stories and Promoted Tweets
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Chartbeat, MOAT, DFP
  • Skilled in crafting slide decks and written pitch materials a plus
