Market Insights Manager
What you’ll be doing...Contributes to Verizon's success by infusing an objective, holistic, and actionable view of the consumer throughout the enterprise, by contributing to all aspects of research projects including project definition. The person in this role will drive a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of both the consumer and business market segments which can be turned into business advantages/action plans for the company.
- Manage market research agency partners: communicate research objectives, identify deliverables, collaborate on methodology development, review questionnaires to ensure that all Business objectives are addressed, test online surveys and ensure accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.Manage agency partners to remain within project scope, timing and budgetManage all aspects of project timeline including hitting all major project milestones, coordinating and synthesizing cross functional inputs on questionnaires and ensuring any research stimulus is appropriate, accurate and delivered on time.Manager research agency partners to execute on research requests to synthesize and integrate current and previous research findings to tell the consumer story.Partner, consult and collaborate with Line of Business leaders to identify and address key business issues and provide actionable consumer insights that drive Verizon's competitive advantage.
What we’re looking for...You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience.Experience in consumer market insights.Experience in marketing research.Experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
- A degree.Marketing research agency experience.Solid understanding of marketing communications and new and emerging media platforms (i.e. mobile, digital, social media) as well as Brand Health Tracking expertise.Ability to present complicated material in a concise and compelling manner.Experience in project management, organizational leadership, and supplier management. Strategic thinker with superior analytical skills.Ability to build trust and engagement and act as an influencer at all levels with confidence to respectfully challenge existing business models.A consulting mindset to drive sound and inspiring solutions and recommendations for the business. Experience making recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative research and marketing strategyAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced, can do culture.Expert knowledge of existing research techniques and merging trends.Ability to work independently and well under tight deadlines.Ability to effectively work on multiple projects at a time.Ability to identify short and long term goals to achieve overall team/company objectives.
