What you’ll be doing...

You will be joining Verizon Up, a next level rewards program, giving wireless customers unforgettable experiences and amazing perks with some of the hottest brands in travel, sports, culinary, fitness, music and entertainment. The objective of Verizon Up is;

    Build loyalty and emotional connections to the VZ brandDrive business outcomes (ex. reduce churn)Position Verizon for industry disruption

The partnership team is responsible for the relationships with all rewards partners from end to end. This involves sourcing, developing, negotiating and analyzing offers. Once confirmed, the team manages the approval process of assets with the partner and reports on results. The team will use these results to enhance existing offers and attract additional partners.

The partnership analytical manager will serve as the primary analytical resource for the team leveraging data to source partners and support ongoing partner strategies. This will include all partner reporting, data analysis, targeting enhancements and strategic recommendations based on partner performance and overall objectives of the program. You’ll help us understand partner results and make recommendations for next steps. Your skills and ideas will help us build the strongest partnership and targeting platform in the loyalty space.

Examples of ownership for the role:

Financial Reconciliation: Understand each partner reward financial structure. Report monthly rewards claimed by VZUp members and claimed on partner reward site to track ongoing financial reconciliation. Primary liaison with CRM reporting team, finance and Ariba. Ensure new partners are set up properly and in timely fashion in Ariba.

Reward assumption model: Maintain and enhance current financial model showcasing partner redemption assumptions and bounty structure.

Targeting: Understand the current targeting capabilities and manage initiatives in place to enhance targeting platform by working closely with Selects team, Mobile First, strategy and partnership team.

Partner Monthly Statement: Provide insights into what partners we should be featuring based on financial structure and past performance. Work closely with CRM team, partner marketing, media and RTD.

Monthly Results: Create monthly partner statements and, alongside marketing and strategy team members work develop key takeaways and ongoing strategies. Work closely with CRM and media to ensure data is delivered in a timely manner and in a format that is most valuable to drive insights.

Communication Management – Be the go to for all metrics tied to the partners

What we’re looking for...

A team member with a strong growth mindset and strong financial acumen. You enjoy learning new industries and brands and establishing how a partnership can drive mutual value for two companies.

You'll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Project management experience.

Even better if you have:

Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.

Strong analytical skills with experience building assumption models (in excel) used to make business decisions.

Experience managing multiple projects across a large enterprise.

Experience building relationships and working with a wide variety of cross industry external partners / stakeholders.

Sense of curiosity and desire to grow a program and add value.

Strong organizational skills and experience working in a matrix organization.

Desire to quickly learn new industries and brands to determine fit and value for program.

Experience in business development or management consulting role.

Digital experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers.

Translated market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the Verizon Up team.
