Role Purpose
The Manager, Current Programming will oversee the day to day on current series that he/she is assigned to and support broader Current Programming departmental initiatives. He/She will report to the SVP, Current Programming.

Responsibilities
  • Provide notes on outlines, scripts and rough cuts for the shows he/she is responsible for
  • Watch dailies and provide notes when necessary
  • Approve episodic directors and guest cast
  • Staff writers and approve key below-the-line personnel
  • Participate in all inter-departmental activities with marketing, publicity, consumer product and online divisions
  • Additional duties as assigne


  • Basic Qualifications
    Bachelor’s Degree or other equivalent experience.
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in the television industry.
    Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in television studio, network or production company setting

    Passion for scripted content
    The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of work experience in the television market with hands-on experience in development and production
    Must exhibit flexibility, excellent communication skills and relationship building ability.
    Self-starters who are assertive, enthusiastic and highly motivated.
    A willingness and ability to travel, as required.
    Proven skills in program scheduling and knowledge of network operations.
    Computer proficiency in Excel and Word a must.
    Candidate must have strong relationships throughout the agent and creative community
    Experience working with writers
    Design/Keynote and editing skills are a bonus
