Job Responsibilities:

  • Social and digital media development and management of the agency platforms
  • Develop a curated social media strategy to drive audience and revenue growth for clients
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to implement account management best practices
  • Join team meetings to develop priorities, meet client expectations, and uphold consistent brand voice
  • Responsible for client satisfaction as well as results that can be presented as a success story/case study
  • Strategize and execute paid social media campaigns including flighting for all managed platforms, managing bid strategy, and Pixel recommendation
  • Track and report on KPIs from all social platforms
  • Part of senior team for partnerships and influencer marketing development and execution
  • Provide strategic counsel for new business pitches and client meetings
  • Generate relationships with social media and audience engagement executives at like-minded brands
  • Plan and host content production shoots; hire freelancers as needed and approved based on budgets
  • Oversee live coverage of NYC-based agency and client events through agency social media platforms
  • Attend industry events and conferences on behalf of the agency
  • Proactively monitor competitors of agency and clients
  • Develop a monthly newsletter for all clients that includes industry developments and trends
  • Manage and mentor Social Media Associate with two years of experience
  • Collaborate with clients’ third-party agencies to coordinate implementation and access to any necessary tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Pixel implementation, etc.)

Required Skills and Capabilities

  • 7+ years of experience in social and digital media  
  • Complementary background in editorial is a plus
  • International and domestic client management
  • Key role in new business pitches and in-person presentations
  • Social media strategy development and execution
  • Content production and calendar production
  • Social media campaign development
  • Paid social strategy and execution
  • Influencer marketing
  • Analytics reporting
  • Community management
  • Photography production
  • Internal team management
  • Rolodex of contacts in the luxury, lifestyle, travel, consumer, and social media markets
  • Project assignments and writing tests will be provided as part of the interview process
  • Two references will be required
