The reporter will be responsible for writing about global financial markets with a specific focus on the U.S. stock market. Cryptocurrencies will also be covered. The types of stories written by the reporter will include spot news on moving markets and stocks as well as stories about futures trends developing with financial markets and Wall Street.
The reporters daily responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:
-Monitoring financial markets
-Developing financial markets sources
-Working with CNBC TV to turn interviews into great stories


-At least three years of business reporting experience
-Specific experience writing about markets
-Knowledge of basic finance
-Knowledge of banks and asset managers
-Investing-related sources
-Ability to file fast, clean copy

Candidates must be self-motivated with a passion for writing about Wall Street. They must demonstrate knowledge of the trends and people making news in the industry right now.
