Director, Digital Supply Chain: This leadership role is part of the Digital Distribution business segment of the Universal Pictures Home Entertainment group and is responsible for overseeing all technology development projects that are critical to evolving the digital supply chain pipeline from manually-supported operations to systems-based automation. This role will work closely with all internal and external technology service providers to define, develop, and deliver on the next generation content management and delivery platform solutions for digital distribution. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and results-driven leader who is both technically adept and personally passionate about advancing the digital distribution supply chain to achieve both technology and commercial goals and objectives.Essential Responsibilities:
Combine strong technical acumen with clear communication and stakeholder leadership to define strategic direction, drive product requirements, and manage tradeoffs on all technology development projects that impact the overall digital supply chainEvangelize the benefits of technology development and systems-based automation to improve efficiencies and reduce issues due to manual operationsManage the technical product roadmap as it pertains to maintaining data integrity and prioritization of new feature releases for all relevant digital supply chain initiativesBe the lead technical project manager on special projects to launch new products, services, or platforms with a content ops and/or digital distribution supply chain componentRepresent the digital distribution business unit on behalf of the studio in any cross-studio/retailer/industry forums as needed to identify new trends and help to define best practices for digital supply chain standards across the ecosystem

Minimum 5 years working with relevant technology services and distribution platforms for content delivery of both Film & TV product
Direct experience working with content/media systems for managing rights, titles, and related digital assets including A/V components, metadata, artwork, etc. for distribution
Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams and executive stakeholders to communicate strategy, direction, and status of technology and operationally-focused projects and initiatives
Must be able to show examples of work including presentations, documentation, and any other artifacts that clearly demonstrate professional leadership and proficiency in day-to-day operations & technology management for digital products and services.

Experience with establishing and maintaining data standards and integrity within both internal closed systems and cross-industry ecosystems
Ability to effectively communicate the impact of emerging technologies and industry trends on operational workflows and provide recommendations and solutions for how to adopt new standards and requirements
Ability to provide technical feasibility and operational options for high-level business and commercial opportunities
Ability to leverage both internal and external technology resources and partners as well as evaluate new technology vendors, service providers, etc. to assist in build versus buy technology decisions
Desire to become the owner of all technical product documentation incl. use cases, specifications, architecture & flow diagrams, etc.
Experience as a Technical Lead/PM to define, develop, and deliver on large, consumer-facing digital products or projects from concept to launch and including support for maintenance and post-launch operations
Experience with a variety of technology development methodologies including waterfall, agile, etc. including the use of any product/project collaboration tools such as Jira, Kavi, Rally, Confluence, Basecamp, etc.
