Job Description

This is a full-time position reporting to our San Francisco office, but working 100% on-site at our client's office in Menlo Park, CA. THIS IS NOT A RELOCATION OR REMOTE OPPORTUNITY.

Brainrider is looking for an experienced and tenacious senior B2B marketing copywriter with ad tech industry experience to join our client-embedded on-site team, as a member of the client's internal B2B marketing team. 

You probably have experience working in a marketing department, managing content projects, building an editorial calendar, outlining topics that are relevant to current sales & marketing needs, working with designers to adjust copy in its final format, and creating ppt presentations (both slide copy and speaking notes). 

Your writing and editing skills include both long-form and short form content, including thought leadership articles, blogs, product-specific collateral, web content, digital ad copy, social media posts, newsletters, best practice content and case studies. 

In this role, your time will be divided between a variety of projects, including:

  • digital writing (website updates, blogs, associated social copy)
  • regional writing (15 hours/month per region for case studies, blogs, advertorials, or whatever is prioritized that month by the region)
  • general marketing communications writing (sales tools, bylined articles, best practices, case studies, video scripts)

 

Qualifications

 

  • Writing samples showing examples of at least 4 types of marketing content that includes both long-form and short-form writing 
  • Minimum 6 years working as a B2B marketing copywriter
  • Ad tech industry experience
  • Strong ideation skills, with the ability to generate a range of topic ideas, build out content calendars and repurpose one piece of content into many channels
  • Keen attention to detail and editing experience, able to perfectly proof content according to company style and legal guidelines
  • Ability to tailor content for different audiences (e.g. media publishers, app developers, gaming app developers)
  • Ability to write strong headlines and lead paragraphs that draw people into content

 

Additional Information

Compensation: annual salary of $100,000 - $125,000 plus a generous benefit package including PTO, medical, dental, and vision.
