Us Weekly is seeking a Digital Account Manager to partner with Digital Sales Executives to develop compelling digital advertising opportunities and media plans in response to RFPs and leads as well as proactively for advertisers and advertising agencies. The candidate will create and manage all digital media plans including revisions during the selling cycle. To be successful, the candidate must understand sales packaging of standard inventory as well as first to market and custom programs. The ideal Digital Account Manager candidate understands consumer advertising priorities and strategies and effectively supports the digital and integrated ad sales team. This position reports to Us Weekly’s Director of Digital and the Head of Integrated Sales.

Duties include:

• Participates in brainstorm meetings in response to the RFP process: Reviews RFPs and filters for most suitable proposals
• Create media plans for all digital programs, including procuring the information required to complete the media plan, such as inventory availability, targeting data and production costs
• Responsible for data entry of media plans into platforms such as Dart Sales Manager and MediaVisor
• Fill out all agency media templates and spec sheets
• Acts as liaison between Ad Ops and Sales
• Provides Sales with performance reports in a digestible presentation when requested
• Ensures accuracy and quality of all campaign documentation including insertion orders
• Presents plans to Finance, Ad Ops and Reporting teams to ensure thorough understanding of Media’s needs
• Stewards media buys to assure continuity and campaign delivery
• Proposes optimization recommendations, in partnership with analytics if necessary
• Create and maintain detailed/accurate files for each client for whom you are responsible
• Demonstrates highly organized campaign/timeline management, with strong attention to detail

Job Requirements:

• 2.5+ years experience in Digital Media
• Passion for digital marketing
• Knowledge of digital media math and how to apply calculations; proficiency in working with and managing numbers – CPMs and overall metrics
• Familiar with comScore & Google Analytics
• Detail oriented and organized
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and with general Web based interfaces
• Experience working with Double Click for Publishers and other relevant 3rd party adservers
• Ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
• A “get it done” attitude with ability to multi-task
• A positive team presence and team collaborator
