  • Drive revenue of our managed and self service optimized linear as well as our addressable capabilities
  • Evangelize the sales efforts for Advanced TV across TV agency teams & direct advertisers via direct outreach, prospecting and pipeline management Translate data strategy into digestible insights and strategic plans – to cut through complexity in order to create clarity and simplicity for clientsDrive the process from prospecting, RFP, RFI & platform proposal creation to closing deals and delivering posting/strategic reporting and outcome based measurement and attribution results Develop and maintain client relationships and drive campaign success and billings/revenue growth of the practiceProvide meaningful thought leadership with an emphasis on both actionable and future-state offerings – contributing to Audience Studio’s overall business growth goalsDevelop strategic relationships with key partners and platforms in the Advanced TV spaceApply a broad range of creative problem-solving skills to business and client issues, combining strategic, technical and analytical excellence, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations/proposalsManage multiple initiatives at once and ensure strong integration, delivery and execution with optimal communication flow across disciplinesInterpret success stories/case studies and be able to apply them to specific advertiser/partner opportunities on the flyHandle intensive levels of back and forth communication with all key stakeholders to ensure client satisfactionRepresent the Audience Studio brand at relevant data centric industry events and conferences

    • 10+ years of relevant direct selling experience in advertising sales (TV, Advanced TV, Data, Addressable, Audience based campaigns and targeting, platforms, Digital)
    • Bachelor's Degree

    • History of consistently exceeding revenue targets and driving growth
    • Strong proficiency in consultative sales principles and concepts
    • Ability to navigate large TV agencies & client teams
    • Existing relationships & rapport with broadcast TV buyers (agency and brand)
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Excellent strategic account management skills in terms of relationship management and creating strategic alignment with customer needs
    • Process oriented and creates organizational discipline
    • Understanding of data driven advertising technology, advanced television, addressable television
    • Experience managing the selling and positioning of new product offerings; managing multi-stream projects, tracking status, revenue
    • Ability to analyze market conditions, customer behavior and the competitive landscape to identify levers to assess opportunities
    • Creative problem solver; can bring facts, experience, discernment, and intuition, together for best solution
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and positive “can do” attitude. Ability to create enhancements, features, process out of white space.
    • Knowledge of key data providers and related ecosystem

    The NBCU-Audience Studio Sales Director will play a critical role within our fast-paced advertising sales team. With a focus on driving revenue through our Advanced TV solution suite, the Audience Studio enables advertisers to target strategic audiences efficiently and at scale with our data driven national linear and addressable products. The Audience Studio leverages big data and precision targeting to enable marketers to utilize the medium of linear TV for all of its strengths, with its broad reach and deep engagement, to more effectively and efficiently reach the high value audiences that are core to meeting their business outcomes. This role will report directly into to the VP of Audience Studio Sales, managing relationships with clients and media agencies and collaborating with key stakeholders across the NBCU organization in order to meet revenue goals. Advanced knowledge of the data driven advertising landscape and ability to operate effectively at the cross-section of traditional and new media are critical to achieving success in this role. The ideal candidate has worked in multiple stages of company growth and is comfortable with fast pace, change, quick decisions, and ambiguity.
