About the position: The American Alliance of Museums seeks a tech-savvy writer and editor to managing AAM’s social media presence across multiple platforms. In this role, you’ll coordinate the work flow for a high volume of communications across social media and other platforms, and you’ll test and track the performance of various marketing techniques.
Skills and qualifications: The successful candidate can manage a high volume workflow with multiple stakeholders using a project management program (we currently use Asana); is adept at using marketing email platforms (we currently use MagnetMail); can track progress on messages sent; has performed A/B testing and social media integration with electronic messages. You should have strong writing/editing skills; ability to gather and synthesize information for delivery via multiple digital channels; and a knack for crafting messages that are both informative and engaging using words, infographics, videos, and images.
