The Director, Content Integration is a key stakeholder in the strategic vision and delivery of content across all multimedia platforms. The position is responsible for acting as a liaison with all in-house departments (Content, Production, Social Media, Ad Sales, Programming, Marketing and Operations) to ensure all goals and initiatives are fulfilled. The position will assist in managing the video, audio, written, and social sides of the business, with the objective of the position to ensure that all content super-serves the network’s fans.


Job DutiesWork closely with VP, Content and Director, Digital Content to prioritize and drive strategy for all multi-platform content both short and long term, based on business objectivesCollaborate with VP, Content and multi-platform producers to manage the editorial voice and tone of all elements across our linear shows, podcasts, and published on our website, mobile and social platformsCreate taxonomies and metadata frameworks for grouping and tagging content, to meet established multi-platform growth goals including live game streaming, fan engagement and content consumption metrics.Partner with sales team to drive initiatives and integration of elements throughout multi-platform contentUse all platforms to develop new or increased audience engagement opportunities, by gathering, auditing and analyzing existing content relevant to the news of the dayDeliver a direction for new linear strategies based in digital principles, such as overseeing content migrationsDevelop skills of on-air talent to achieve the highest possible success on all platformsLead staff of multi-platform content creators, developing content indexes and mapping documentation for the siteSupervise a team, completing performance reviews, daily scheduling, etc.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications
  • Must be available to work an evening schedule (approx. 3pm - 11pm)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in a multimedia environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager, in a digital or multi-platform role preferred
  • Experience leading content production across all platforms, with deep knowledge of creation and execution in both a linear & digital environment
  • Has driven growth metrics for content distribution across digital and social platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, emerging digital trends, and modern media analytic tools

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
  • A team player that can both lead and roll their sleeves up with the team that helps foster a fun work environment
  • Knowledge of Boston/New England professional leagues, teams, athletes and culture preferred
