Job Duties
  • Lead the local sales efforts for T44 (WZDC) in the Washington, D.C.
  • Work with VP of Sales to formulate sales strategies and develop growth opportunities to increase station revenue and share
  • Manage sales targets, inventory, pricing strategies to maximize revenue and meet goals
  • Generate premium value for all platforms


  • Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of broadcast and/or cable sales experience including working with advertising agencies and direct clients
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sales Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be willing to work in Washington D.C.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or greater
  • Must have valid driver’s license

  • Ability to set strategy and tactically articulate and execute sales strategy
  • Experience developing local market decision maker contacts that drive revenue and new business development
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong agency/client relationships and excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of growing share
  • Strong computer skills with particular proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven success in selling Broadcast TV, digital, mobile and integrations
  • Ability to utilize research tools and industry analytics
  • Knowledge of Wide Orbit and Sales force applications
  • Working knowledge of political sales and paid programming
  • Passion for growing Hispanic advertising market
  • Competitive with a desire to win
