You are a succinct and clear communicator who will help execute the strategy to drive engagement on our owned and operated (O&O) platforms.
  • Responsible for programming the content on the front doors of E! News on desktop, mobile web, daily email newsletter and in app to ensure that the right content is reaching the right audience
  • Ensure that the E! News voice is consistent across digital platforms but also that the correct iteration of that voice is being used on the correct platform
  • Work with writers to improve headlines for each experience and tweak where necessary
  • Generate mobile web- / app-only content ideas and work with the content team to execute
  • Work with research teams to monitor performance across digital O&O platforms and identify trends, top performers, key celebrities, etc. for each platform
  • Liaise with the product and design teams regarding UX, look and functionality of website, mobile web and app
  • Work with product, operations and ad sales on optimal revenue-driving placements throughout the site
  • Drive editorial SEO strategy as well as work with content leaders to balance a data-informed, brand-first approach to serving our audience the most compelling stories each day
  • Strategize reader lifecycle communication, drive high-value behaviors, and create effective campaigns that enhance reader lifetime value with our newsletter and push notifications

  • • At least 8 years digital media experience, including some cross-platform programming using CMSs
    • Data savvy, preferably with experience using programs like Chartbeat, Omniture and Google Analytics

    • Editorially minded with an understanding of which stories will pop on which platform
    • Preferred: Experience with ESPs, retention marketing, SEO best practices
    • Celebrity and pop culture enthusiast who never tires of reading about Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum and Kim Kardashian
    • Deep understanding of current platforms, especially mobile, and a curiosity about emerging platforms
    • Master communicator
