Digital Economy Competition Reporter
PaRR (Policy and Regulatory Reporter) is a leading global competition policy publication. Our subscribers include the largest companies, government agencies, law firms and other stakeholders all over the world.
We looking to hire a full time reporter to cover competition policy matters, primarily related to the digital economy.
The position will be based out of either our San Francisco or Los Angeles, California, and will work closely with team members all over the world primarily in Washington DC, as well as London, New York, Brussels, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sao Paolo, and Mumbai. Opportunities for travel may present themselves from time to time.
This exciting role will involve writing breaking news and detailed analysis on high-profile antitrust and privacy matters including those impacting the largest Silicon Valley companies like Google, Facebook and Apple. Other matters of interest for the role include large transformation mergers like the Time Warner/AT&T case and criminal cartel investigations.
With a strong focus on investigative reporting, the right candidate should be as comfortable working independently as collaborating with a strong team of reporters and editors.
