We are looking for a Senior Producer with a passion for producing, a creative mind, an eye for detail, and the ability to bring a show concept to life by crafting a 360-degree storytelling experience across multiple platforms.  This team member will be responsible for shaping the editorial direction of the new show America with Eric Bolling and creating relevant and exciting content that pushes the envelope in a live format. The Senior Producer will produce original news and factual content, including research, interviews, writing and editing scripts, creating rundowns, and field producing. The successful candidate is expected to pitch story ideas and work on assigned stories developed by the team, and will be passionate and extremely knowledgeable about politics, current events, and cultural stories that generate buzz on social media. Established network of political contacts and strong studio control room experience is a must.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated, enthusiastic, and flexible with strong multi-tasking skills for our three-day-a week live program. This role is required to be hands on at every step, from conception through pre-production and into post-production. 

This position will report to the Executive Producer.


  • Work with a small show team on story planning, pitch process, and feature segments
  • Pitch, research, write, and produce unique and interesting stories that our viewers will relate to for day-of and future segments
  • Lead and execute show rundowns
  • Coordinate script and storyline with correct video sources and graphics
  • Drive and elevate show production
  • Identify new production and storytelling trends, and execute on them
  • Plan future events and story coverage
  • Ensure clear project communication
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Conduct research and compile well-rounded pre-interviews
  • Manage daily deadline turnarounds for a live show
  • Supervise the control room
  • Develop effective content and manage the delivery and approval of all creative assets 
  • Participate in content strategy sessions and identification of long-term growth
  • Establish and maintain contacts, develop sources, make appropriate newsgathering calls, and secure interviews and access of the highest level
  • Secure appropriate rights and clearances for video usage
  • Research and secure shooting locations
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum of 7 years of video production experience a must in show producing, segment producing, working in a control room, and coverage of domestic and international stories
  • Experience working with news and politics
  • Must be able to drive the look and feel of show, including working with graphics, music, sets, etc.
  • Professional credited work experience that showcases a strong production background
  • Demonstrated ability to bring a creative concept to reality from start to finish
  • Experience working directly with talent and hosts
  • Prior experience working at a television network with expertise in the television production process, network structure, departmental responsibilities, and how all entities work in concert to meet business objectives
  • Video production experience for TV & digital platforms
  • Experience conceptualizing and executing live programming
  • Savvy visual storyteller with professional creative techniques and tactics
  • Professional scriptwriting skills with demonstrated mastery of technique, direction, dialogue, cue sheets, creative treatments, summaries, outlines and pitches
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio
  • Ability to communicate accurately and efficiently with production crew using production protocol and vernacular
  • Ability to actively problem-solve, make quick, responsible decisions, and handle the full responsibility of a high-profile production while facing tight deadlines and multiple unexpected challenges
  • Able to take direction well in stressful environments
  • Experience in the post-production process, including logging footage, giving editors direction, and ensuring a flawless final cut is produced
  • Impeccable judgment with solid knowledge of ethical standards and journalistic best practices
  • Must be focused on delivering great work, no matter how big or small the project 
  • Must be willing to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require


  • Experience in MS Office suite
  • Experience using a rundown similar to iNews
  • Excellent project management and organization abilities, including the ability to formulate a plan and execute it in a structured fashion
  • Great researcher and inquisitive with a thorough knowledge of politics
  • Strong production skills in all phases of production
  • High organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time

Bachelor's degree with focus in TV, film, or video production or equivalent work experience preferred
