OVERVIEW
The Director Sales Liaison is responsible for managing the profitability and growth of sales activities of NBC Universal’s filmed entertainment and television product to linear (Free TV, Basic & Pay TV) clients throughout designated Pan-regional LATAM territories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for being NBCUniversal International TVD’s brand ambassador and driving overall growth of business in designated territories in Latin America.
  • Develop, implement and achieve annual sales budgets of customers’ needs in designated markets.
  • Drive growth of sales revenue through proactive sales interactions with free TV, Pay TV, cable, and satellite.
  • Oversee some major volume deals and develop/maintain a close working relationship with corporate pay television executives, clients, and local authorities where appropriate.
  • Formulate strategic sales plans, product packaging strategies, and other priorities through research and analysis of market/country data to enhance the market share of NBCU products in territory.
  • Monitor the marketplace for changes that affect sales activities, both directly and indirectly. Identify new opportunities for sales as a result of new entrants, changing technology and/or delivery systems, etc. and develop sales strategies targeted specifically to address these specialized needs.
  • Represent the company within the industry including participation in Company designed conventions, activities etc.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups across international divisions of NBC Universal.
  • Travel in territory to meet with clients and team members.
  • Coordinate & follow up on delivery of material, collections, and any other procedures related to sales to maximize product placement, ratings and promotional opportunities.
  • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience within TV distribution (5 years +)
  • Experience working in Linear sales (5 years +)
