NBC Sports Philadelphia is seeking an experienced and talented Coordinating Producer to oversee our digital video team.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Content, the Coordinating Producer will be responsible for leading a group of team-aligned Preditors, developing and executing our digital video strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a video team for a digital publication while possessing an innate sense for how video works on all platforms, from YouTube to Facebook to our website and everything in between.

This role requires strategic vision for our video content, hands-on skill in the edit bay, and the ability to coach our team of Preditors. We’re looking for innovation in our content and in the technical workflows behind it, and our Coordinating Producer should have the ability to develop fresh ideas and execute those ideas from a technical perspective.

We want somebody who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty: our best candidates will have an extensive history producing, shooting and editing digital sports video, and will be eager to roll up their sleeves on game days and nights. Passion for telling stories about the Eagles, Flyers, 76ers, Phillies is a plus.

Responsibilities
Developing NBC Sports Philadelphia’s overall video strategy across all digital platforms in tandem with the content leadership teamManaging team-aligned video preditorsOverseeing the development of new digital video series, from concept to pitch to production to publishCommunicating company goals to the digital video staff and ensuring that we are working towards those goals in our workPartnering with other internal teams -- written editorial, audio, social media, and linear -- to ensure seamless integration of digital video with the rest of our content on a daily basisCoordinating the daily logistics of a variety of shoots, edits, and productionsWorking with sales to develop and execute sponsorships


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience in digital video programming and production, including experience in creating and developing video programming for digital platforms
  • Minimum 5 years of experience shooting with Sony HD cameras
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing and overseeing digital video productions
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere
  • Understanding of sports
