American Media, Inc. (AMI)  is seeking a Direct Response professional to sell its various celebrity and fitness properties   AMI's titles include Us Weekly, OK!, Star, and the National Enquirer.   You will be responsible for generating new business, while managing pre-existing sales and accounts. You will develop new client relationships, manage existing accounts,  and close business to make sales goals. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player and have the following skill set:

  • 3+ years of Direct Response Sales experience
  • Strong verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
  • Excel at cold calling and prospecting 
  • Highly organized and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, environment.
  • Develop new business, and grow existing business at agency and client level
  • Increase rates and activity to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
