Columbia Law School seeks a talented, meticulous writer, editor, and researcher to join its Office of Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs. An integral member of the editorial team, the Writer/Editor will create content that advances the Law School’s story across multiple platforms. The Writer/Editor will research, produce, proofread, and copyedit a variety of digital and print materials. Projects include, but are not limited to, brochures, viewbooks, press releases, faculty bios, reports on Law School news, and profiles of students and alumni. The position requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, proofreading and copyediting skills, the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging, accessible prose, and a high awareness of current events.
