Publicity Assistant for Music PR Firm
Shore Fire Media is looking for a sharp and ambitious, up-and-coming PR pro to join our team of publicists in our Brooklyn and Nashville offices. We’re looking for someone with an in-depth knowledge of the music and media worlds, and who has the ability to handle a diverse client roster of award-winning musicians, authors, tech, events, non-profits and a range of other art and culture-related projects.

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include pitching and securing stories in media outlets, conducting research on media and culture, interacting with journalists, clients and other publicists, creating press releases, proofreading and copy-editing, preparing weekly reports and attending client events (including nights and weekends).
Qualifications and Skills
• 1-2 yrs. experience in public relations, global agency a plus
• Exceptional written, verbal and organizational skills
• Passion for contributing to a wide variety of fast-paced PR campaigns (music, charities, food, products, etc
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of Cision, Word, Excel and Office (and basic Photoshop skills)
• Social media
