RESPONSIBILITIES• Serve as part of the “go-to,” expert team for key category insights and knowledge across key categories like Auto/Tech etc. for NBCU Hispanic.• Build and develop deep understanding of relevant categories and their strategic issues, competitive landscape, potential disruptors, and new initiatives and effectively synthesize for broader team.• Develop and deliver compelling insights that fuel strategic innovation within your assigned categories in support of NBCU Hispanic team.• Identify and define areas for growth including potential revenue/market share gains on existing accounts and work with sales to capitalize on those opportunities.• Research, analyze and report on changing consumer behaviors & media industry trends.• Provide strategic sales positioning to differentiate the NBCU Hispanic and the total portfolio in the marketplace.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8+ years in relevant experience (client, brand strategy, agency strategy)
• Prior experience with category strategy across key verticals such as Auto/Tech
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Successful candidate must be a strategic business building thinker with a strong interest in advertising/media, consumer insights
• Understanding of media tools to help drive data, insights, and trends across key categories
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead collaborative efforts across multiple teams at NBCUniversal
• Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, “startup”, deadline driven environment
• Act proactively to anticipate and deliver on sales requests and client needs
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent executive level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with excellent attention to detail
• Established network of agency and client relationships
• Thorough knowledge of sales, media and brand marketing process
• Strong knowledge of the digital marketplace
• Ability to solve problems and work proactively
• Strong organizational skills
• MBA preferred
