We are seeking applicants for the position of Producer/Production Coordinator. They will be responsible for managing all line aspects of production for the Video, Photo and Social Media teams, including securing locations, talent, freelance hires, and equipment, as well as managing production budgets and schedules. This is an amazing opportunity to join a dynamic team, an ideal role for a proud New Yorker, and an opportunity for creative growth. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Coordinate all aspects of photo and video production to ensure on-time delivery of projects 

Coordinate photo and video talent to cover press conferences, promotions, activations, company meetings, events, editorial and social support, new member venues, out-of-home advertising, staff headshots, etc.  

Outreach to locations, businesses, and individuals to facilitate inclusion in photo and video content and help with permissions where required. 

Help manage timelines for photo and video production and delivery. 

Coordinate outreach to locations and acquire location agreements and COI  

Inform and collaborate on production planning and execution, including shot-lists and equipment recommendations  

Manage department administrative tasks including:  

Work closely with our Rights & Clearances staff to secure permissions for photo and video content, including appearance releases, location agreements, content releases, stock acquisitions, and to negotiate terms of use. 

Schedule, book, and onboard freelancer hires 

Negotiate freelance rates and complete contracts with our Legal and HR departments. 

Manage project budgets, track expenses and submit expense reports 

Coordinate photo and video equipment rentals and acquisitions 

Help Manage a Master Production Schedule 

Document NYC & Company member engagements through photo and video in our company CRM  

Participate in creative conceptualization and proposals   

Foster a creative, collaborative, innovative, professional, and positive working environment throughout the organization 



BA degree or higher 

5 years experience in video and/or photography in a coordinating role, with demonstrated on-set experience 

Demonstrated experience handling schedules and budgets for video and/or photography productions 

Superb organizational skills 

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 

Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills  

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel 

Basic working knowledge of professional photography and video equipment 

Basic working knowledge of post-production workflows 

Strong geographical knowledge of New York City  

Passion for New York City and a commitment to contributing to the City’s continued success
